Morgan Stanley in Japan* has been commended as “Best Company” in the “Best Workplaces in Japan” survey conducted by the Great Place to Work® Institute Japan for the past 16 consecutive years (2007-2022). The Great Place to Work® survey is the world’s largest annual workplace survey conducted in 60 countries, with more than 7,000 participating companies.

Morgan Stanley Japan placed 4th in the Great Place to Work® Institute Japan’s Best Workplaces for Young Employees ranking in July 2021.
Awarded "Rainbow" in the PRIDE Index
Morgan Stanley in Japan has been awarded ‘Rainbow’ for the newly established certification in the PRIDE Index conducted by work with Pride in 2021. This certification recognizes firms that are demonstrating a collective responsibility to local community outreach initiatives which impact Japan society. Companies are evaluated based on five broad categories of Goal setting, Strategy and solution, Partnership, Leadership and commitment, and Impact and result.
Awarded "Gold" in PRIDE Index
Morgan Stanley in Japan has been awarded the highest rating of "Gold" in the PRIDE Index conducted by work with Pride for the past 6 consecutive years (2016-2021). PRIDE Index is the first LGBT index in Japan to promote LGBT inclusive workplaces. The index rates companies based on their performance in the five categories of Policy, Representation, Inspiration, Development and Engagement/Empowerment.
