For example, we have identified cases where individuals are introduced through social media to fictitious websites or applications purporting to offer Morgan Stanley products and services. In such cases, individuals have been unable to make further contact after depositing investment funds.
Morgan Stanley does not conduct business with individual clients in Japan. Furthermore, we do not solicit investments by social media, etc. Please exercise caution as recent cases reported are by third parties entirely unrelated to Morgan Stanley.
