Warning about Investment Solicitations and Fraudulent Activities, etc. Impersonating Morgan Stanley or its Employees

We have received reports of suspicious investment solicitations and other fraudulent activities, etc. conducted by third parties unrelated to Morgan Stanley, who impersonate Morgan Stanley or its employees. For example, we have identified cases where individuals are introduced through social media to fictitious websites or applications purporting to offer Morgan Stanley products and services. In such cases, individuals have been unable to make further contact after depositing investment funds.

Morgan Stanley does not conduct business with individual clients in Japan. Furthermore, we do not solicit investments by social media, etc. Please exercise caution as recent cases reported are by third parties entirely unrelated to Morgan Stanley.
